NOTE: Unlike our Digital Aipo dry cabinet, some other brands ANALOG dry cabinet are using silica gel as their dehumidifier, hence they are usually much cheaper.
You may notice there is a silica gel module at the back of this kind of dry cabinet. This silica gel module is used to absorb moisture from the inside of the dry cabinet. After that, the module uses heater to heat up the silica gel and vaporize the moisture out of the dry cabinet.
In doing so, the analog dry cabinet becomes warm to touch and it is not cost efficient due to higher electricity bills than digital dry cabinet.
Also, the silica gel has a life span. Performance of the silica gel, so is the dry cabinet, will decrease after some months or years of use.
